Pros

The party piece is where the hose connects to the vacuum. This reinforces the hose where it takes the most *. I like it well enough that i'm debating buying another for the other vacuum.

It seems a bit stiffer and also has a closer-spaced rib pattern at the first 8 or so of each end of the hose that should help with collapsing. The hose is is very flexible.



Cons

The hose is so stiff and due to it's length and weight, had a tendency to crimp right at the attachment-to-vacuum spot. Very dissappointed. Missing parts. Didn't fit my stanley 2.
