I wanted something more that just a cooling pad and also felt that aluminum legs instead of plastic would be worth the extra expense

Furthermore im not even using the fan feature because as the manufacturer claims the premium 18x10” anodized aluminum panel naturally dissipates heat very well

Configuration isnt particularly easy i had to experiment until i got comfortable with how it works and found the right setting for my situation

I wont say anything about my first one which was all plastic and a leg broke off about a month in

The 2nd was aluminum and i thought that included the legs but after about 11 months a leg broke off as well and revealed it was mostly plastic coated with an aluminum like substance
