The first one was defective the lens was warped and the beam was kinda swimmy and there were scratches however i exchanged it for a different package and all was as expected a fun toy for sure be aware of others like fulminaxed

Was able to burn threw cardboard it was shipped in less than a min time

Only reason it 4 stars is the cheap safety glasses it sends with the product they work but wouldnt bet my eyes on them

And the laser beam literally can be spotted miles away if its shined in the middle of the night straight up into the sky

And sadly it appears im going to have to buy him another one because some one has broken into his tool desk at work and stole the laser from him
