His room is above the wind chime and he absolutely loves it and even comforted by it. I love the fact that the chimes are tuned to create a beautiful song no matter which way the wind blows. It has such a beautiful and gentle sound.

The hanging paddle makes it very modern looking. The size is large and nice. Very lovely sounding chimes.

Ovilla is the dam safest place to live in the dfw metroplex area. They have a comforting tone, not the high pitched tinkling that can really go thru your head.

The sound is amazing, it never does the annoying clash sound of low-grade wind chimes. Even with the gentlest breeze these chimes resonate. They resonate for many minutes longer after striker hits chime.

If you try to use the hook upside down under the ugly metal clamp at the top it just looks crooked. There is no way to attach an o ring for hanging as the strings are not long enough to make a loop to attach a hanger.

The striker sits askew on the string and appears to be on upside down. It sounds more like a bunch of bottles clinking than the soothing sound i expected. Now it just makes a clacking sound when the wind moves it.

This chime is 44 long if you count the string, the longest chime tube is 21 inches. The entire thing is 43 inches long. The tubes are very thin and not very long.
