Take it from a beginner in woodworking. A basic setup necessity. Sometimes the best solution is the simplest solution.

This tool is well crafted. The saw gauge is very will built which is noticeable from the first time you pick it up. A shiny new toy is always cool, but a shiny new tool that actually solves problems is even better!

It makes a huge improvement over an uncalibrated saw. Works supremely well. Another best tool from a top tier manufacturer.

Cons

The dial indicator is too small to register on the miter slot. The pin should have been mounted on the table. Grasping and moving the assembly near the rear rod causes the whole unit to “fishtail’ and displace the large rod from the small rods.

This is by far the worst product at this price because of how ridiculously overpriced it is. Will certainly contest any restocking fee.

Often the price of knowledge seems steep but the cost of ignorance can be much worse

The price i paid was about 70 from an amazon vendor

This thing is easy fast and so satisfying to cut a perfect square

Also bought a kreg router table system and was able to use this to set the fence on it true to the table miter slot

I used mine on a ridgid ts 3160 and it was quite easy to use

My tablesaw instructions are also so so in this area

If it werent for a riving knife it was and true built kickback delivering machine
