Socket which holds the vice is too large and the thumb screw provided was rusted

The vice wobbles when trying to use it and i have the thumb screw as tight as it will go

The screw which tightens the vice stem to the base doesn’t fit

Hopefully i can find a replacement or i will have to buy a new vice
