It has a rechargeable battery if you want to use it while it's not plugged in. It's rechargable, which is nice. The 12-volt plug is wicked handy in the car as well.
Cons
The connection to another device (including a tv) is a bit limited for a device this new. I need to restart the video because it freezes up. I’m the only one that changes out the disc.
This product is a complete disappointment. It looks like mike baker gets around! Not satisfied and would not recommend this product.
