In some of the older reviews they talk about having a weird clasp and the first pair i owned did have a weird clasp though nothing unmanageable

Most importantly the shoes dont make any annoying squeaky noises like other pleather shoes

The second pair i ordered has a normal clasp and more of what you expect so the makers definitely did see the reviews and fixed them
