Well the medium fit great in width of legs and length in the crotch area but the elastic waist was way too tight to be comfortable wearing all day or even for a couple of hours

The large was too big in the width of the entire shorts the crotch area hung too low to be comfortable walking in unless i wanted them really high waisted on my short torso but the elastic waist more comfy

My thoughts are if you have a drawstring that actually works not just for decoration the elastic waist doesnt need to be so binding or tight
