Unlike wraps that are made or vinyl or other malleable material, this is made with a harder ABS plastic and is almost more like a case than a “wrap”. It was relatively easy to install for me particularly compared to vinyl wraps and far less frustrating to get applied because it’s very forgiving allowing for “retries” where, with vinyl wraps, once it’s stuck on and you realize it’s not on quite right (misalignments, bubbles, creases, etc...), good luck retrying application without stretching or tearing the product. Once on, it looks quite good. If I didn’t know that Teslas normally have piano black center consoles, I probably wouldn’t guess it had a wrap on it as you can only barely see sight bits of the piano black near the edges if you look for them. The ABS plastic is also thin enough for the Tesla key card to still work (I tested). Honestly, if you have to time, patience, skill, practice, and dexterity to apply a vinyl wrap (or are willing to pay the money to have someone install it), vinyl wraps WOULD give a more “OEM” look as they can completely cover the piano black by wrapping around edges while not blocking the movement of the console doors, but I tried installing that kind also and, apparently, I don’t have enough of the qualities needed to apply a vinyl wrap and make it look good- and I don’t want to spend $100+ on top of the product to have it installed. In the time it took me to get frustrated applying ONE piece of vinyl wrap (that still had small bubbles and a crease due to me having stretched the product trying to “adjust” it, I was able to get all three of the pieces of the WJM Center Console Wrap installed and looking good with little hassle.Overall, I’m quite pleased with the WJM Center Console Wrap for the Tesla Model 3/Y!  Read Less

Really nice console cover for the Model 3. I originally tried the vinyl wraps to cover up the shiny, finger print magnet center console, but the wraps never looked perfect and weren’t durable. This set is extremely easy to install (basically foolproof). You just expose the tape on the underside, line it up and press down. Took less than 10mins and it looks incredible. Much cleaner appearance than the vinyl. Highly recommended.  Read Less
