I couldnt get one of the two original ones out as the ball fitting was messed up and wouldnt come out but just replacing one was enough

Another negative was that they came with absolutely no installation instructions

For instance it would have been nice had they included instructions that said the included ball shaped screwins pins snapped into the plastic retainer at the top of the assembly

Youll need someone to hold the gate fully up to get the replacements properly mounted

So earlier this year the lift supports were giving in and finally it got to the point they were not able to hold the trunk open
