Isolator switch is a quality made component. No need to use a hammer to install it. Bottom insulator is not a problem when installing.
Perfect fit on the negative terminal of a diehard platinum battery. Makes it yu to disconnect battery.
Cons
This product works as advertised, unfortunately, it's of very poor quality. Did not ship in original packaging.

Great item for the boat we use this item on the boat to switch from battery to battery for our lights that we have added to the boats for week at night fish and shrimp when you don’t want to use it just pull the lever up and it does not use any amps from your battery

You always break the negative side of the battery never the positive side because breaking the positive side will produce a spark and can cause the battery to explode if its gassing off which it will do when charging or discharging

This would not work on my 2014 mustang because the hood rests very close to the top of the battery making this addition unsafe
