I purchased this item and was disappointed as the item i received did not have the raised wirthco logos by post and clamp also another logo on the black plastic piece was missingbecause of this i assumed it was a cheap chinese knockoff and returned it

While doing electronic work on my truck its great to be able to quickly disconnect the negative cable from the battery without worrying about the cable moving around and reconnecting with the terminal or about the stress on the terminal and connector from frequently connecting and disconnecting the cable

I also have a 240 amp high output alternator thats been rated around 247 amps actual output which is right up there with the upper bound of the switchs rating 250 amps as such id be nervous about installing the switch permanently anyway

Better than unhooking the battery every time i have to leave the key on to tow it so the steering lock is off
