Yes the directions were written by someone whos english is not their first language its very obvious

I was able to figure out what they were trying to tell you and how to program it but for some reason it would not control my tv

Luckily i didnt give up and i kept trying and i realized they missed one critical step in the directions how to program the remote to control your tv
