Works for single shots only on my canon rebel t7. The title says that it connects with the 5d iv but none of the cords work. Just got a canon t8i and tried this remote and got the same result.

However if you are using back button autofocus you will need to disable that and put it back on shutter button in order for the remote autofocus to work

Although you can use autofocus on live view from your phone

If you hold the remote on for several seconds it will keep taking pictures until you click it again to stop
