    I then moved remote 1 up and away from the wall plugs so it would not pick up any signals as i set remote 2

    Remote 2 while in front of the wall plug with remote 2 i pushed the learning switch and as soon as the red light came on i held the numbered button instead of waiting 3 seconds till the wall plug flashed as in the directions
