I set it up in one room and went into the next room and was able to autofocus and trigger the shutter from quite a ways away through the wall and with our home wifi router between me and the camera

The camera indicated it was paired but it didn’t work

Ill have a hard time with it simple because the instructions that come with it are ridiculous and dont explain anything

There are some videos online you can find that will help you get things set up but the most important thing is that once you have your remote paired with your camera at least for the canon m50 which is what im using you have to set your timer to shoot with a positive 10 seconds

I dont know why that is but thats the way that the remote is able to be read for still photos

Video is fine you set it to video and click it and it will record its just that if you want to take still photos you have to set the 10 second timer though when you press the remote shutter it will still take the picture

    It attached immediately to camera
