The touchpad will stop working after a few minutes of not using it but just hit any bottom and it comes back on

The first time i plugged it into a windows 8 machine i had to unplug and replug and then it worked

Ive tried larger wireless keyboards from microsoft logitech and others and they have always had more compatibility problems than this
