There is almost always a bass-doubling effect when using a single driver, as this and most, if not all, other units do, but these buds have minimized it to the point of not being an issue at all.

I'm using the in-ear part that came already on the buds and have not even tried the two others.

I used to use the traditional earphone with cable, although the effect is ok, but there are always some trouble, and sometimes there will be problems with the earphone cable winding.
