Im using a clear case on the back of my s7 edge and it does charge through the case no difference in charge time if its removed though

This isnt a fast charger it takes a couple hours to get a full charge but its great for just topping up a big before you go out or leaving the phone on it when you dont need it

I wouldnt use this as an overnight charger either because the charging does stop when your phone hits 100 unlike a plugin charger that will keep the phone charged up wireless chargers shut off and allow the phone battery to drain a bit

Often the phone would go thru cycles of startingstopping the wireless charging

It is sturdy i can place the phone on it haphazardly and it will beep letting me know its registered and my phone will beep letting me know its charging
