It is very compact and you have to position the phone just right to initiate charging but thats true of all qi wireless chargers so not a ding

I have an app on my galaxy s7 which puts the charging current up on the top row of android icons this qi wireless charger provides 1000 ma of current as advertised 1000 ma is 1a and at 5vdc it is 5 watts of power

Because the whole qi device is under my phone when charging i have to look closely craning my neck under to see if the light is on

The pad itself is quite small a triangle of about 2 inches per side and as such the charge element inside the unit just seems small thats my only misgiving you have to be fairly careful with your phone placement on this thing in order to get properly aligned

The good thing about the pad is that it has a grippy rubbery padded surface so its not very easy to accidentally move your phone out of alignment

Youll know when your phone is charging because the led on your phone itself will be lit
