After turning on it greets you with a pleasant female voice informing you its on and ready to pair it also informs you when its reached its highest and lowest volumes it will then search for a bluetooth device and only takes a few second to pair

Rather than just splashproof these are true waterproof speakers as demonstrated by my short video notice they are both linked to the same device

To my surprise the volume was so much louder maybe more than double what it was on line in
