If you are looking for an alternative to copic markers these are not the markers for you

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

This product has a low rating because the markers behave differently than your standard alcohol based markers which if youre not expecting it can be very frustrating

The markers will not blend properly and will just be downright stubborn if youre not using appropriate paper

Gessoed surfaces yupo the back of bleedproof marker paper the actual paper wn designed for these markers

If you use a porous surface like drawing paper the paper will absorb the pigment and they will not blend out

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

You will essentially have to use it like a nonblendable ink pen

Then you have to learn the individual markers

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

All will lay down color on paper that does not already have color on it but if you try to layer on top of other areas already colored in you may get a lifting experience where the marker will actually lift color already put down and then lay down a blended version of the color in the marker and the color previously on the paper
