Pros
I use linseed oil, cause it usually easier to find out side the states. No yellowing and works great with the paints. This thinner removes the gummy feel of water mixable oils.
Cons

The texture is thinner and runnier than i expected so after doing 2 coats on my large painting i still have half of a bottle left for future projects

Main issue ive found is that you cant adjust anything once youve put this down or youll pull the paint clean away from the canvas

I only have an issue with my paintings yellowing with time if i use linseed as a varnish

I followed the advice of fellow artists and tried this results were excellent it made the oil paint just thin enough to glide on with ease
