Pros
Raised seam is good for beginner pitchers in gidgets level. Good for fielding, pitching and batting.
These are my favorite workhorse softball for durable use in practices. Sturdy construction. Will last a long time.

A ball with a cork core will eventually fail after being hit over and over

These are great balls but much too big for 6u or 8u players to use

Be warned these are not the super spongy rif balls often used in youth fastpitch
