While the lubrication strip is supposed to last longer i should point out that the blades last the same as the older design

If you do suffer from irritation and razor burn here is a tip wash and prepare face as usual with warm water etc but avoid highly perfumed foams or gels then rinse razor repeatedly in very cold water when shaving

Ok so as a disclaimer i do think the wilkinson sword 5 blade hydro system is actually the best razor i have used sinc i started shaving however before there was the 5 there was this series of 3 blades and they are a cheaper alternative

One is that the cartridge was not used for 8 days and so had not been worn by 8 consecutive days of shaving

I still have to turn the razor sideways to shave the beard hairs directly below my nose as the normal vertical upanddown stroke just does not reach them
