He is a very classy man with expensive taste and previously had a leather folio style case but hated that it was all one piece and the inset did not actually protect the phone

One of the pockets for the cards is basically made out of a synthetic fabric and it doesn’t keep the card in the right place anymore

It doesn’t cradle very well and i don’t like that the flap with the magnet doesn’t catch on the other side

This case is a little thicker than some but i feel the trade off is well worth it as it gives the ability to remove the phone in its own case which was included that is held onto the back cover magnetically

The actual phone case not wallet portion is fairly similar to the apple case and can be used with the wallet with the supplied metal plate though is not held quite as securely
