Clinical insomniacs need more sleep, not less, says sleep expert.
He claims cetaceans experience rem sleep, even though there is no evidence for this. He makes numerous statements that can't be verified, and even claims that can be verified as false.
Search for sleep studies at sciencedaily. Very boring & lengthy in the phd rhetoric.

As this reference addresses the negative neurological impacts of certain pharmaceuticals ingested for sleep, certain corrupt motives may ultimately provide deceptive viewpoint(s) in contrast to the clear neuroscience this book offers.

My only concerns are that: 1) the book reads like someone desperately trying to convince you of something the facts should do on their own, and 2) this book has been criticized for scientific manipulation (see “science fictions” by ritchie).
