I always feel like the other parents have everything completely together and there’s those “perfect mummies” that rock up to school in a nice outfit who have had time to do their hair and makeup and even stop for a takeaway coffee on the way while i’m there in tracksuit bottoms a hoodie no makeup and my hair chucked up because i didn’t even have time to brush it

But this book really showed that that is okay and in fact no parent feels like they have everything together even the ones that look perfect

I got quite a few strange looks from my husband while reading this because i was constantly bursting in to laughter and it actually took me a lot longer to get through this book than it should have because i kept stopping to reread sections out loud to him
