I am using this on my moto g5 to transfer photos from my cameras sd card to my phone even though the product information said this is not possible

At top of screen there is trident symbol

When you click on that box the sd card opens up and you can see everything on the card

When google photos has the photo i click on the share symbol below the photo and transfer it to prime photos

You may get a notice saying there was a problem finding photo to upload but pay no attention it has been shared with prime photos

I must go through the same process with each photo that i transfer which i would not have to do if my phone was otg compatible but that only takes a few seconds and it is worth it to be able to use this device with my phone

Just switch out the sd card and plug it into either device
