    This book is no exception it does an admirable job explaining the leadup to the haphazard and nearly historyaltering polishsoviet war makes battlefield strategiesactions and consequences clear for the nonmilitary historian and casual reader and manages to be relatively nonbiased despite daviess strong polish slant in his other books
