Author rick mofina give us a racehorse thriller that moves briskly along. Rick m ofina is a master of suspense. Whirlwind is a pretty good thriller that left my heart aching.

The plot deepens as a russian * with deep pockets comes to texas, looking for his dead son's child. Mix in some old russian mafia gangsters, and several ex cons looking for a quick payday.

Jenna cooper is caught up in a tornado while at a swap meet with her young daughter and 5 month old son, caleb. Jenna and her daughter survive, but caleb disappears. Question is, where'd caleb go?

I seem to be in a distinct minority here and i doubt that my review will dissuade readers from tackling this. The plot is so predictable that i can figure out the end without hanging in there to read it.
