The issue was it would stop between initial wash and rinse cycle

If we went over and lifted lid or touched the selector dial it would continue through the cycle

Did some on line research and found out it was lid switch

I originally ordered wrong part and had to return it that one was 8 and looked different but stated to be for whirlpool and kenmore direct drive washers

Once i got it it took about 15 minutes to repair it took more time reseating the washer cabinet onto the frame then anything else
