Bought this for my fiancee who loves to cook he was excited to recieve this its light easy to hold even with smaller hands the only thing that was a let down is the box says its damascus steel and it does not go all the way through the tang

I cant tell if the handle is real wood or just printed im not willing to damage it to find out
