Pros

When breath becomes air is about life and death. It's about fortitude and acceptance. Paul is a brave man. How many of us have enough courage to realize when it's our turn to be brave?

It's a hauntingly beautiful memoir of a man who was not afraid to live while facing the shadow of impending death. The epilogue by the author’s wife, lucy kalanithi is incredible. Worth buying in hardback.

I am envious of good writers, and kalanthi's prose is awe inspiring. He writes poignantly about his life, as a young man searching for meaning and purpose. He was blessed to have known love in his life.
