Video quality is excellent and setup is simple. The wide-angle of view is nice to record more of what is happening in front of the vehicle. The addition the wi-fi in this model allows for video playback using the roadcam app.

Camera quality is good diurnal and nocturnal. Overall very good. As advertised, it is much better than some other competitors 4k camera.

Googling this behavior on the web, some state that with a dead internal battery, videos might not get saved. Play and pause, that’s it. The * only work some of the time to allow you to pull up the settings to troubleshoot.

The double capacitor was supposed to resolve the issue of deteriorating battery over time. I find myself constantly rebooting because i notice it's frozen. Battery depletes in less than a minute.

I really hope that my problem with both the unit and customer support was just an outlier. This is not, in any manner of thought, standing by a warranty. One year warranty.

Peripheral images are quite blurry. Image quality suffers horribly from vibration transmitted through this mount. Decent camera during the daytime, nightvision is barely visible.

I suspect this camera can’t handle heat and goes haywire. The clips for the suction mounting used on both models all break in the middle. The windshield attach device is flimsy!
