Scottoline’s writing style is fast-paced yet easy to follow. She captures every emotion perfectly, from fear to hope to despair. The book never feels rushed or slowed down too much.

This is too much. It is completely unbelievable. Refund please. Very disappointed. This one is disappointing.

The author has developed characters void of depth and likability. The characters are superficial caricatures. While i can stretch my imagination in the believable category, the characters have to be somehow endearing.

It just reads like something churned out on the fly between appearances for her last book. She’s so highly-rated that i thought the first one was a fluke. Do editors actually edit anymore?
