Simple, clear understandable language and inviting illustrations make the book easy to navigate alone for those of many ages and reading ability. Direct, inclusive and hilarious. It’s a keeper!

Catherine is hilarious and extraordinarily empathetic in her advice. The light, irreverent tone provides plenty of chuckles and makes this seem like a conversation with a wise friend, not a whole book of shoulds and should nots.

As you read through the book the topics become much more advanced and touch on things such as expressing empathy, being an ally, racism, and many other complicated (but important) topics. I think it could have been better if it cut down on the amount ... Read More
