When i dunk it in water i hear the motor whir, but nothing comes out. The pick up head is barely held on with compression and falls off. Nothing was caught in the impeller, but it was no longer attached to the motor shaft.
This product has been installed for less than a year. These bilge pumps are junk. Dont buy this product.

However since installing froze once when auto on and had to manually turn off and then on to restart

I had to make an aluminum bracket to mount it since the old pump had a round base and this pump is long and thin

It pumps quickly and only leaves about 12 of water in the bilge

I simply left the old mounting plate in the boat and this new one snapped right in

First i thought it was not working properly maybe i was trying to cycle it to fast as this was repeatedly testing it so i put it aside
