Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

These are invaluable. They are long enough to do some diagnostic work. These seem to be well constructed and out of durable material.

I have been fiddling with forty year old clip leads for a decade. They are simply test jumpers and they do the job without costing an arm and a leg.

Cons

Wires were not even soldered to the alligator clips (an open-circuit jumper) they're ok if you don't mind using two one to hold clip, another to keep the insulator from rotating. Inferior workmanship and product.

Quality

The alligator clips on the leads are robust and provide a strong secure grip making connections easy and reliable

In the past i have had problems with cheap clamps giving faulty connection but these are solid and effective

The wires are soldered to the alligator clips not crimped

Avoid the ones where people are reporting that the wires are thin unsoldered and have slippery boots

Price

They provide good value for the price and are a practical choice for anyone involved in electronics work

Great alligator test clips at a great price

Average set of clips nothing special priced for what its worth

One less menial task to do if i were to build these and im pretty sure i couldnt buy all the supplies to make them for the asking price

Shipping

I was going to cancel these but they shipped before requesting

Packaging/appearance

The jumper wires showed up and looked pretty solid through the packaging

Only reason i am taking a star off is because i only received 19 pcs in a 20 pack missing a red lead

Competitiveness

These leads are better than most available here for sale and they are by far the best price

For the same price as a different brand which falsely advertised 18 awg when in reality it was closer to 28 or 30 awg and only stampcrimped the wire into the clip these have thicker conductors and are actually soldered

The rubber boot is slightly slippery on some clips but most are not slippery and even the ones that are slightly slippery can still be operated with one hand

Avoid the ones where people are reporting that the wires are thin unsoldered and have slippery boots

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Fairly easy to compress too unlike most that are so slippery it is almost impossible to squeeze them open

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Grip of clip to that end is also more than adequate for purpose

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Wire seems to be a little heavier gauge and resistance is negligible when measured

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its a small detail that goes a long way in enhancing user convenience

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

On the downside some users might find the lead wires a bit stiff
