Pros

This boom does the job for an amateur setup. I do narration and podcast on the largest video sharing website on earth and this does just the trick.

Cons

Did not come with us adaptor, it looks like a proprietary mic stand hookup. The cad is not even a very large mic.

The mount itself isnt particularly well made and rough around the edges

If you are going to mount it to any good furniture be sure to put some padding on the clamps as they are sure to leave marks

You would think this is an ok product because of the price but its pretty rugged and it can handle the weight of a 51mm mic if you position it correctly

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The arms are pretty sturdy overall but the swivel that holds the microphone is pretty loose and even after clamping down on it pretty hard on it some things like my led light panel just want to cause it to droop

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Granted this is not what the arm was made for per se and i doubt many microphones will cause this issue but for likeminded people who like having everything mounted on arms this is a consideration you may want to make

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I needed something simple to hold up my audio technica usb mic for light voice over work

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Just be cautious if you don’t have a perfect edge to clamp onto

The end you screw the things onto is 38
