This is the best patty maker i have used along with the patty papers. Makes different sizes and thickness of patties. Insures you don't overwork the beef when shaping and that there all the same size and thickness.
This unit disassembles easily which makes clean up a breeze. It re assembles easily for the next time you & your family want hamburgers. Seems durable enough.
Use a sheet of 15 × 7 parchment paper folded in half and placing the meat in between. Mush have wax paper on top and bottom for the hamburgers not to stick.
Cons
The powdered residue comes out on my fingers when i rub it. Once this happens you have to peel the burgers from the top of the press and they end up falling apart. Also their is no way to mark the settings on it, so every time you wash it, you must re... Read More

The weight markings are foolproof i stuck with 14 lb and the nonstick feature is not 100 perfect—parchment paper solves any sticking issues
