Slow speed of the blade makes it almost impossible to cut vegs of any kind. Stand is quite flimsy, not suitable for a one-lb ham. Open it only to find a serrated blade.

Keep in mind that you dont have the total cutting area of the blade you cant cut a 9 inch high roast with a 9 inch blade maybe 7 so if you only had a 7 you would be lucky to be able to slice a 5 inch roast of piece of meat
