Pros

Medallion was used in the replacement with pendants of four recessed cans. Good and sturdy, but i would recommend against using it for a ceiling fan or any fixture with a larger mounting base.

Cons

The design is so clunky, it draws attention to how ugly it is. I am extra mad that my new fan needs to be taken down and re installed to replace this thing.
