Pros
The inner band is well constructed and elastic on the top end. This makes for a snug but comfortable fit. It fits perfectly.
Cons
It will be damaged if in same box. It is stiff and crooked. The l-xl size is tiny. It's cracked all over because of the way it was packaged and shipped.
It is stamped plastic to look like straw. More like paper mache. The top of the hat is so tall it looks goofy. What a huge letdown.

I will warn you if it is a christmas gift you mind as well wrap the box it comes in because you will be hard pressed to find a gift box for it

I only took one stat away because while advertised as a mens size it seems to be a bit more towards smaller heads
