Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The dimmer knob dims the light evenly from full to off. My slightly dimmed incandescents outlast my led bulbs, especially if turned on/off a lot.

Cons

It works, but the dimmer knob is so tight you can't turn it without pliers. I really like the range of light to dimness, however, these make the lamp buzz.

Just a bit too bright for my tastes so purchased the westek dimmer to drop the brightness a bit

Ok i only bought one because there were a lot i of “not so good” reviews

I only use incandescent bulbs in the evening and dim them a little

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

What i really wanted were triac based dimmers that plug into the light socket and have purchased them on amazon in the past but they are no longer available

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Besides the rheostat dimmers dont really save any electricity they just give it off as heat

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The adjustment knob which is the rheostat is glitchy and finicky

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Best to set it where you want it and forget about it
