Pros

These small black organic lentils are delicious and nourishing. Drain and stir into scrambled eggs as they cook. Lentils are the highest protein/fiber combination bean, and lowest in carbohydrates.

They blend themselves well to soups and stews and are an easy way to add fiber to your nutritional needs. They are uniform in color and texture, have a clean natural taste and do not clog together.

Cons

Canned lentils contain as much water as dried lentils do. Only half of each can holds lentils. Very disappointed as more than half the case of lentils received were heavily dented.

The slightest stirring or even just ladling out transforms them into a porridge-like mash.

I cant find these in local stores and the price was reasonable

It was convenient and a decent price organic canned lentils are about a 1 locally

Worth the price 21 very difficult and timeconsuming to cook these yourself

Ill buy them again if the price doesnt adjust much

Yes all 12 cans can arrive crushed and dented not in shipping but by amazon warehouse stacking them too high and the bottom ones buckle

Sometimes i need a fast prepared meal but i am way too health conscious to buy the unhealthy fast food

Once you rinse and strain the contents the beautiful lentils are revealed
