Pros
Clip/magnet nestled in the case. Has the same functionality except the old one had two timers. This little gem uses two aa batteries.
The only thing that i do not like is the beeper is not very loud. I use the other in my bedroom as an alarm clock.
New version has these advantages thicker than old one, stands on the counter better. Clip is more robust; when the clip is out it's more stable at a tilt. More heft is easier for older and younger hands.
The current time is nice to have in the area of the kitchen where mine is stored on the fridge. Do yourself a toss out those other digital timers in your home and get this one, or one for each room where you need to time actions or just need a handy l... Read More

Meaning when timer expires hit once to stop the beepingwhich is at a decent volume once to reset to memory time then again to start it again

It has a clock and the capability to time one item

Overall this timer is not as good as the older one in that the keys are harder to use and occasionally stick and the display is not as clear

Falls off the fridge so i took the magnet off sanded down the piece and glued the magnet back with epoxy
