Pros

The chain tightener is easy to use and works well to hold the bar without ever loosening up. The original chain had 18 cutting teeth, the s56 has 28 cutting teeth. Ordering extra chain blades today.

Many state and forestry camping areas allow using downed trees for firewood. It is really an excellent value if you need a saw occasionally for dropping and bucking trees.

The only downsides are the trigger delay and the plastic made it feel like a toy when i first touched it. Just put in the battery and push the button. Press trigger and go!

The battery gets through a lot of cuts. Cut through the day on 2 batteries, hardwood wears the battery a little quicker but still get probably 3 hours. No more sore muscles after a morning of cutting.

Nonetheless i’m still giving it 4 stars and now knowing the product is well made i will eventually invest in a se ond battery

In half hour we delimbed and cut up a 810” tree and a smaller green pine on only 12 battery

The battery does take around 2 hours to recharge when completely dead

I saw the 4ah battery was out of stock then noticed one for only 60

If this saw only last 2 years i can buy another just the saw for under 75

Their only solution is for me to ship my battery back to them and then inspect it and then send me a replacement

We unpacked it put the bar and chain on in minutes and charged the battery
