The case is very sturdy. This protects my phone (i'm a serial dropper) the back has a compartment to hold a credit card or two. Inside seems to be a softer plastic liner which will help cushion your phone.

And the cards have to really click into place for the compartment to close all the way which concerns me that my cards will be damaged if i access them too often
